Dr. Catherine D'Aoust

Catherine D'Aoust is the Interim Director of the UCI Writing Project (UCIWP) for the School of Education. She also serves as a key member of both the EIR Pathway to Academic Success and the IES WRITE Center grant leadership teams and is the liaison to district partners and a trainer of teacher leaders. She has been teaching Curriculum Design and Planning and Professional Development for the UCI Division of Continuing Education in the Preliminary Administrative Credential Program for the past 15 years.
Her other experience includes teaching and supervising student teachers in the UCI MAT program. As the Coordinator of K-12 Curriculum and Instruction in Saddleback Valley Unified School District for over 30 years, Catherine was responsible for professional development and curriculum development, particularly in the area of literacy instruction.
