Free livestream events showcasing the work of teacher-scholars
Check for updates regarding events that may be of interest to you! Throughout the year, we provide free livestream events focusing on the latest research-based practices for teaching writing in secondary schools. Future livestream events will have an author presentation session (1 hour) followed by a moderated Q&A session (30 minutes). We encourage school leaders to utilize these resources for PLCs or book groups, and other professional learning communities. For more info, see our events page.
Research to Practice Updates
We will regularly share research findings related to secondary writing in a format that is useful and practical for educators interested in improving students' writing. These posts include insights, tips, and examples of evidence-based instructional practices, with a focus on improving argument writing. By partnering with secondary teachers, school leaders, and researchers, we hope to improve writing research, writing instruction, and the connection between the two
